Henriette Fuchs, Partner International Taxation
Born The Netherlands 1964; admitted to practice tax law in the Netherlands 1992 and Israel 2008. Henriette is married and has two children.
Adv. Fuchs has gathered 20 years of experience and is partner in international taxation with S. Friedman & Co. Henriette began her career as a tax lawyer for Ernst & Young, in The Netherlands (1988), and continued with Mazars Paardekooper Hoffman respected Certified Public Accounting firm in Amsterdam (1992). Henriette managed the offices of MPH in Israel (till 2002) where she concentrated on structuring and advising on international tax matters. Subsequently, Henriette was instrumental in establishing and advancing the international tax department at the accounting firm of Deloitte, Brightman, Almagor, in Tel Aviv after which she obtained her license to practice law in Israel. Henriette initiated the establishment of the Israeli Tax Committee to the Business Industry Advisory Committee (BIAC) which advises the OECD as to matters relating to Israel’s tax system in light of its candidacy for OECD membership.
Mrs Fuchs is a prolific author on subjects relating to international taxation beside her international tax practice which concentrates around international tax planning for in- and out-going investments, including issuance of opinions on international tax issues involving often times complex corporate structures involving holding companies and foreign subsidiaries, filing requests with the tax authorities in Israel and abroad;
• Correspondent of prestigious International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation (IBFD) and submission of regular Tax News Service updates on taxation matters in Israel;
• Established the “Dutch Forum” of Young Dutch New-Immigrants to Israel, 1998
• Co-established the Association of Dutch University Alumni together with the Netherlands Embassy in Israel – 2001
• Involved with pro bono legal advice to various organizations for elderly Holocaust survivors and their welfare
