Karen is a paralegal in the firm’s Intellectual Property Department, providing professional support to Adv. Liron Koren. Karen handles the filing, renewal and on-going maintenance of trademarks and designs for the firm’s clients, both in Israel and overseas.

Karen’s duties include maintaining the trademark and design database to ensure that all deadlines are met and corresponding with clients, governmental authorities and foreign colleagues regarding trademark and design matters. Karen conducts worldwide preliminary searches for clients wishing to apply for new trademarks to assess their registrability. She handles client billing and payments for services rendered by colleagues abroad.

Karen also prepares all of the notary certificates for the firm’s notaries. She interacts with the clients to collect the documentation needed and prepares the notary certificates. Karen is responsible for maintaining and updating the notary certificate wording formats, in accordance with the guidelines set out by the Ministry of Justice. She also handles the filing, recording and billing of the notary certificates as set out by law.
