Liron Koren

Liron is an associate at S. Friedman, Abramson & Co. responsible for the day-to-day handling of all aspects of intellectual property, including overseeing the running of the trademark and design departments. In addition, she is a member of the Intellectual Property Commission of the Israeli Bar Association (Northern District).

Liron provides comprehensive services in all areas of Intellectual Property law and commercial disputes. She specializes in representing clients in all IP related areas, including trademarks, copyrights, designs, licensing agreements, assignments of trademark rights, trademark licensing, legal handling of trademark and design applications, dealing with official actions received from the Patent Office in Israel and abroad, searching for availability of trademarks in Israel and abroad, etc. Liron is experienced in enforcing all IP rights and handling other commercial disputes through litigation, before all legal jurisdictions in Israel.

Liron has extensive experience in intellectual property in academia and the media. She has for several years represented two of Israel’s largest media bodies in all of their copyright disputes. Liron also regularly represents leading higher education institutions in Israel with regards to their ongoing current and often exceptional matters concerning intellectual property.

In addition, Liron is responsible for managing a database of the hundreds of trademarks and designs of the firm’s clients registered in Israel and in many countries around the world.

In 2023, Liron was appointed as the Chair of the Intellectual Property and Commercial Committee of the Haifa District Bar Association.
